The Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna’s 2024 spring exhibition is devoted to three outstanding pioneers of the Renaissance north of the Alps: Hans Holbein the Elder, Hans Burgkmair, and Albrecht Dürer. It offers a golden opportunity to experience fascinating works by these artists and to explore how Augsburg became the birthplace of the Northern Renaissance

Rembrandt – Hoogstraten
The “Rembrandt – Hoogstraten: Colour and Illusion” exhibition at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna presents a unique exploration of the Baroque master Rembrandt and his pupil Samuel van Hoogstraten. For the first time in Austria, visitors can admire a wealth of international loans by Rembrandt, unveiling the interplay between master and student through about 60 paintings and drawings.

Nedko Solakov | The Belvedere Palace
Nedko Solakov: A Cornered Solo Show #3 (with Charles Esche as my artistic conscience)” at the Belvedere Museum in Vienna presents an innovative artistic intervention by Bulgarian artist Nedko Solakov. Set in an unassuming corner of the museum’s coatroom, the exhibition engages visitors in a dialogue that intertwines Solakov’s art with his internal reflections, guided by his ‘artistic conscience’ represented by curator Charles Esche.
