HOLI Festival der Farben (Linz)
Inspired by the Indian spring festival of colors, the Festivals of Colours Tour was launched in 2012. Throughout Europe, various cities host a music festival with a special gimmick: at every full hour, there’s a countdown, at the end of which everyone throws a handful of color into the air together. In Austria, cities such as Innsbruck, Linz, Graz, Salzburg, St. Pölten, and of course, Vienna typically participate. Musically, the festival primarily features local DJs from the EDM scene.
The distance from Vienna to Linz is approximately 200 kilometers. You can reach Linz from Vienna by taking a train, which typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.

Vienna Design Week
At the Vienna Design Week, design is brought to life in various formats: exhibitions, product presentations, workshops, participatory projects, talks, and tours throughout the city and in the focal district provide surprising and pioneering insights into architecture, graphic, product, furniture, industrial, and social design. Admission is free.

Kaiser Wiesn
The Kaiser Wiesn, successor to the Vienna Wiesn, is “Austria’s largest Oktoberfest”! Every festival day, people dance in lederhosen and dirndls on wine tavern benches with a liter-sized beer in hand. Numerous pop and folk music bands perform in the festival tents and alpine huts of the Kaiser Wiesn, creating a lively atmosphere. Admission is, as usual, free of charge.
